Inframark is seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Vice President of Growth and Sales to lead the expansion of our Operation & Maintenance (O&M) business unit. In this role, you will be responsible for providing overall strategic business development leadership for our company.

Inframark is the largest American-owned provider of water and wastewater utility services, with over $500 million in annual revenue and 2,500+ employees. We offer a breadth of services and expertise across Automation & Intelligence, Community Management, and Municipal Utility Districts. The O&M business unit manages water and wastewater utilities, collection and distribution systems, public works departments, natural gas distribution, and other services for over 100 municipal, industrial, and military clients nationwide.

What you will do:

  • Provide overall strategic sales leadership and growth with clear team objectives and formulate departmental goals, strategies, and SOPs and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate across the company to offer our clients unique solutions.
  • Lead business growth and client stewardship activities.
  • Analyze sales performance data against established KPIs.
  • Foster a growth mindset within the sales team.
  • Develop and manage the sales budget for the O&M business unit.
  • Ensure core and key client strategies are developed and implemented by collaborating across the company, offering unique solutions, and developing a culture of high performing, integrated teams.
  • Lead the project development life cycle: from prospecting leads and developing opportunities to creating and presenting dynamic proposals and closing deals.
  • Attract, develop, mentor, lead and retain a high caliber team of professional Business Developers to execute objectives and strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience and proven track record in business development (15+ years) and business management (7+ years) with a focus on the utility sector; previous experience working in a large environmental or O&M firm is beneficial.
  • Prior experience negotiating and contracting with the US Armed Forces, NASA, and other Federal Civilian agencies.
  • Established relationships with a diverse cross-section of public & private sector leaders.
  • Analytical skillset with the ability to develop pricing proposals and support compliance with sales budgets.
  • Experience personally engaging in key pursuits including the development of strategy, pricing, and managing the team.
  • A passion for leadership coupled with innate ability to impact the decision-making process and lead the sales effort.
  • Experience managing a diverse sales team with varying complexity of projects and clients.
  • BA/BS Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Environmental Sciences or Civil Engineering. MBA preferred.
